When you meet someone for the very first time, first of all you’ll be making eye contact. The eyes can tell a lot about a person, they say the eyes reflect the soul.
Especially women can make their eyes stand out, by using a little make up. Using some good mascara can give you long, full and dark eyelashes.
I will guide you with some essential advice about achieving the perfect eyelashes in a natural way, without using wimper lifts, extensions or fake eyelashes.
The colour of mascara
Even though blue mascara was very hot in the past, these days we can say that it’s completely not done! This also applies to every other brightly coloured mascara out there.
Women with blonde hair and really pale skin should use a brown coloured mascara. It doesn’t look too hard and it seems more natural than black mascara.
Black mascara is great for brunettes and women with dark hair. I have always used black mascara myself.
The type of brush
Each mascara has its own type of brush. I really like the plastic thin mascara brush from “the falsies push up angel” by Maybelline I’m using in my current make up routine. With a thinner brush you can reach all of your eyelashes easily. Another great advantage in using thinly designed mascara brushes is that you can apply the mascara to your eyelashes more precisely than with thicker brushes.
I only use mascara with a thick brush for my second layer of mascara, because this will make your eyes stand out even more.
The way of applying
Some people may call themselves lucky because of their long eyelashes and it appears I’m one of them. Unfortunately my eyelashes are not visible at all without mascara, because of their natural colour. Yep, I’m a brunette with blonde-ish eyelashes. It’s a good thing they invented mascara to make light-coloured eyelashes stand out.
The first important step to take in creating the most beautiful lashes, before applying mascara, is to use a good eyelash curler. After that, you can apply the mascara to your curled eyelashes. Currently I’m using “the falsies push up angel” Maybelline mascara. The way of applying mascara to your eyelashes is really important to achieve beautifully long ones, so make sure you take your time for this. Always start in the corner of your eye and work your way towards the outside of your face. Move back and forth a little to apply the mascara nicely to your eyelashes. I always go over the tips of my eyelashes again to lengthen them even more.
When the mascara has dried up, I curl my eyelashes again. I will bring on a second layer of mascara with a thicker brush of my L’Oreal Paris “volume million lashes fatale” mascara. Next I gently apply a little bit of mascara on my lower eyelashes.
And that’s it, my everyday mascara routine, my guide to the ultimate long eyelashes.
